MELANIE MICHALAK MUSICAL FREESTYLE CLINIC ~ MAY 1 AND MAY 2, 2021Freestyle for Both Western and Classical Dressage!!WDAIL is proud to present a Musical Freestyle Clinic with Melanie Michalak! This will be held Saturday May 1st and Sunday, May 2nd at CW Equestrian Center, Inc. 11607 State Route 177; Mascoutah, IL 62258. Melanie Michalak is a Musical Freestyle Designer, clinician, and USDF “L” Graduate. She has designed freestyles for the US Olympic Trials, Pan Am Games, NAJYRC (Gold and Silver medals), all USDF levels, World Western Dressage Championships, World Icelandic Championships (Helsinki), Tempel Lipizzans, US Pony Cup, Retired Racehorse Project, Extreme Mustang Makeover, Morgan Worlds, and more for riders from six nations. Her freestyles have won more than 150 USDF HOY and All-Breeds awards since 2014, as well as 21 Regional Championships and Reserves. USDF National Finals awards since 2014 include 2 National Championships, multiple Reserve Championships, 20+ top-10 placements first level through Grand Prix. Her freestyles won 4 of the top 6 places at the WDAA Western Dressage World Championships. Melanie has been featured at the Illinois Horse Fair and has produced more than 100 articles on Musical Freestyle. She has written 12 publications for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. She has ridden and trained through Grand Prix, earning many USDF Awards and Horse of the Year Awards on her own horses. Melanie has conducted Musical Freestyle Clinics throughout the USA since 1988.
