WDAA is very proud to announce the 1st Annual WDAA Harmony Award.
All exhibitors that meet the following requirements, will be part of a drawing for a trophy saddle designed and created by master saddle maker Mike Corcoran*. The drawing will be held Sunday, October 3rd after the World Show concludes, during the World Show Awards Celebration. Scores and drawing entries are automatically tracked by the show secretary, so you can focus on your ride.
- A horse and rider team must have shown and been judged in the 2021 WDAA Online International Show and the 2021 WDAA World Championship Show.
- That team must have earned an 8.0 or higher, in harmony at both shows.
- Every test that the horse and rider team achieve an 8.0 or higher in harmony will count as an additional entry in the drawing.

*Huge thanks go to Mike for his generous donation! Mike Corcoran grew up in the horse business, living and working on quarter horse and paint ranches. He's shown horses in many disciplines.
In 1979, he attended and graduated from Western saddle making school. While making saddles for a prominent western store, he was introduced to English saddles where he learned to fit and flock them for a better fit for the horse. This started a new career and so he began his own business of fitting, flocking and sales of a custom designed dressage saddle.
When western dressage began, a light bulb moment happened, and he knew he could design a western saddle to feel and position a rider as close to a traditional dressage saddle as possible.
Now his business combines both worlds, fitting horses, and riders to well fitted and proper position saddles.
