Dini Swanson | Executive DirectorDiana “Dini” Swanson may be new to Western Dressage but has been involved in the horse business for over 40 years. Diana began showing Saddlebred, Arabian and Morgan horses as a youngster and was also deeply involved with livestock 4H raising cattle and sheep. Her love of all animals great and small is in her blood like most horse lovers. After graduating from Colorado State University, Diana’s life revolved around her family, instructing, training, showing and farm managing in California and North Carolina earning many Regional and World Championships with the farm clients along the way. She has enjoyed being on many horse show committees across the country and was on the American Morgan Horse Association Board of Directors as the Eastern Regions Vice President. Other current Association involvements are the American Morgan Horse Educational Trust and the USEF Morgan Rules Committee. Dini fell in love with Western Dressage many years ago at the 2014 Western Dressage World Show while helping video interviews with various exhibitors. Their stories of their personal journeys shared with their beloved horses made a deep impact, seeing a Belgian showing next to a Fiord didn’t hurt either!
