Alex McBurnett | WHLPAP Coordinator and Creative Design Specialist

Alex McBurnett was born and raised in central Texas, where she has dedicated her life to learning about and engaging with both animals and technology. She grew up attending Western Riding summer camps and using her love for animals as a source of creative inspiration. She has previously worked as a kennel technician and office manager at a dog kennel, where she cared for dogs in between answering calls and scrubbing kennels. She now enjoys spending her time further developing her technical skills, working on graphic design projects, watercolor painting, and caring for her two cats!

Alex works in WHLPAP processing submissions and aiding in development, as well as creating graphics for WHLPAP and WDAA as a whole.

Weird but true fact about Alex? I’ve been the proud pet owner of many different types of animals, including but not limited to: cats, dogs, mice, rats, fish, and snails!
